Mini atmospheres.

Just a little exercise I did to play around with aesthetic, by drawing different little atmospheres in my notebook. I played with color, tone, shape and textures as well as imagery to convey different moods and atmosphere.

Early morning challange - how much are you going to challange yourself today - what will you let yourself accomplish if only to get past the impossible feeling of it

Melancholic
Lack of coffee but it is anticipated
bare concrete and the feeling of using your leg muscles
Looming stairs that will be over in 30 seconds but feels like a mountain
first challenge of the day
frustrating
spilt coffee
eeiry beautiful wild grass
industrial chicken wire - a separate world
rubbish - poverty
so sweaty

Richard Serras MASSIVE metal/steel scultpures have an eerines to them, but also evoke a feeling of being very small and insignificant. Plus i love his materials, that metal is so solid and gigantic its like you cant argue with his idea, or dent his work with your opinion.
